At KLIA
Well.. following the 45 minute roadtrip from my house to KLIA, we finally arrived and unloaded off our luggages into the trolley and proceeded to line up at Air Asia’s Check in counter. As we had 11 people to check in, we decided to all check in at once, and I had to collect everyone’s passport . (Red Path on the KLIA Departure Lounge Map)

The poor check in lady, had to process 11 of us, with all of us crowding around the counter. Especially Shannon climbing up the check in counter to have a peek at what the check in lady was busy typing in.
So, we’ve all checked in, and with our various back packs, we headed down to MacDonalds for a second round of breakfast as we knew that our next meal would be approximately 3 pm in the afternoon. (Green Path On the departure lounge map), afterwhich we headed to immigration through the autogate, into the Airport’s restricted area. (Blue Path).
As we had time to spare, most of us decided to head to the duty free area in the satelite building ( Red Path of Satellite Terminal), to check out the shopping. After all Chamaine really wanted to ride the Monorail serving between the Main Terminal and the satellite terminal. Shannon bought a bottel of Chivas Regal for the trip , but the rest of us decided to buy upon our return. We took a quick round around the satellite terminal, and took the monorail back to the main terminal.
Meanwhile back at the main terminal, Ee Laine and Adrian decided to stay behind, as duty free didn’t excite them. These photos will show you what good … or rather to what mischief they were up to. Squeezing into the little playground, virtually destroying it.

So the whole group met up again outside our gate, and proceeded for the final security clearance before boarding the Aircraft. As we were a bit early, we were waiting in the holding lounge, making a huge racket as usual.

Well .. finally in 20 minutes , we boarded the plane. Of which the story will continue… albeit a sleepy one.
